Roasting Full-time! Replacing Antigua Small Farmer Lots
The Asorguate Farmer’s Association was started in 2014 by 100 coffee producers. Their farms average 7.5 acres in size. Ripe coffee cherries are brought to a local wet mill, El Retiro, to be stripped of their two “beans” which are then carefully dried in the sun, then shipped to a state-of-the-art dry mill to be sorted for uniformity.
