The best Santa Clara yet. Creamed honey grapefruit giving way to gentle black tea notes as the coffee cools. An exceptional Antigua valley harvest.

Santa Clara is owned by the Zelaya family going on four generations. Ricardo Zelaya is managing this farm as he is several other Antiguas, two of which we have enjoyed in the past (Jauja and San Augustin). His approach is extremely meticulous. The farm has won several Cup of Excellence awards.

Santa Clara is part classic valley Antigua, at 5,000 feet and part mountain slope, rising almost 1,000 feet on a west facing slope. The trees are carefully spaced and pruned with shade trees providing a uniform semi-shade environment.

Santa Clara has a large wet mill to process all its coffees, as well as those of two other nearby farms. Better qualities are then dried on raised racks under large translucent tents over a period of approximately twenty days.
