Kailash is a complex mix of guava, key lime and tangerine in a maple syrup - pecan base.

Kailash Coffee Mountain was purchased by Manuel Rosales and Maximo Ramos in 2011. The farm had been abandoned and out of production due to limited access way up to the farm. They are now engaged in re-activating the farm. The original varieties are 70% Caturra, 20% Catuai and 10% Bourbon, grown on 10 acres of land. Manuel and Maximo have planted an additional 10 acres with the heirloom variety Typica and Maracaturra.

Kailash is located near the border of Honduras in the Nueva Segovia Department land of Nicaragua's highest grown coffees.
